Spicy Garlic Shrimp

- 1 lb shrimp, thawed and shelled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons hot sauce (I use Frank's Red Hot)
- salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
directions
- In a small pan, heat 1 T of oil or butter. Add half of the garlic, half of the shrimp, and half of the hot sauce.
- While stirring frequently, add salt and pepper. Shrimp cooks quickly and will be done when the outside is red and the flesh inside is opaque.
- When done, remove to a separate bowl and sprinkle with 2 T of Parmesan cheese.
- The other half if the shrimp can now be cooked. By cooking in 2 small batches, you can vary the amount of hot sauce for those in your family with different tastes.
