Directions

  1. Heat oil on medium heat.
  2. Saute onion and garlic.
  3. Add spices.
  4. Saute one minute.
  5. Add flour and mix.
  6. Add broth, lentils, tomato paste and bay leaf.
  7. Bring to boil, stirring often.
  8. Cover and reduce heat.
  9. Simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
  10. Remove bay leaf.
  11. Puree.
  12. Stir in evaporated milk.
  13. Reheat.
