"Add a little spice to your teriyaki! I use this with chunks of beef to make kabobs (with red onion, green and red peppers and button mushrooms). The crushed chili and cayenne make this just a little different than other teriyaki marinades. Adjust to your spice level."

ingredients

1 cup soya sauce
¹⁄₂ cup maple syrup (or regular pancake syrup)
3 teaspoons minced garlic
¹⁄₂ teaspoon ginger
¹⁄₂ teaspoon ground black pepper
¹⁄₂ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
¹⁄₂ teaspoon cayenne pepper

directions

Combine all ingredients.
Whisk to combine.
Pour over desired meat (beef, chicken, pork).
Marinade overnight.
Grill, or cook with desired method.
