  1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat until shimmering. Saute onions in oil until soft and translucent, 3-5 minutes. Add beans, ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, ground mustard and brown sugar, if using. Bring to a simmer and cook 10 minutes, stirring often.
