Stan's Barbecue Sauce

"This is the only barbecue sauce my mom ever used. Very flavorful. Not a heavy sauce. Of course, in the south, we have to add a little bacon fat."

  2. Tell Stan that he's the MAN! Really a great sauce. Used on chicken and then the leftover sauce, I put over frozen meatballs on low heat in the crock pot! Very flavorful. The bacon grease makes it!!!! P

  3. I made this sauce to use in BBQ'ing some skinless chicken thighs and it was wonderful. It isn't too sweet, has a bit of a tang and the perfect amount of heat for my tastes. I have never had a sauce with bacon fat added and loved that extra flavor added into the sauce. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for your win in Football Pool.
