"This is another great recipe that I found in Kraft Food & Family magazine. It's so easy to make and tastes like you treated yourself to a night out at your local steakhouse."

  1. This didn't work out for me - -had no flavor at all. I don't know if I should have doubled the recipe?

  2. Nicely done! This rub is simple, quick, flavorful and the brown sugar gives the steak a nice caramelized coating. Made as written. Thanks for the post.

  3. Very nice steak! I used a rib eye and grilled this on my stove-top grill pan. Simple and tasty. Thanks Crafty Lady 13 for a new nice keeper. Made for I Recommend Tag.

  4. WONDERFUL!!!! This reminds me so much of a steak that I used to get at the "The Chop House" in Dublin, Ohio. I loved how the brown sugar helped with caramelizing the steak on the grill and the added sweet to the other savory spices!! I used a nice sized, well marbled, rib eye!! Boy oh boy was I ever happy eating this wonderful meal!! I served it with a baked potato and green beans with onion, bacon and vinegar!!! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!! Made for PAC Fall 09!!!

  5. Excellent! I brought Australia to Tex Mex! I used Beef Loin New York Steak, garlic flakes and olive oil. I seared on the grill and then put on indirect heat to finish cooking. I sliced this and served on heated tortillas with grilled onions, peppers, Recipe #236734 and Recipe #372771 and shredded cheese. Made for ZWT5. Thanks for the good eats!

<p>Update: &nbsp;I have changed my profile picture in honor of my dear best friend and loyal companion that I lost to cancer on 6/25/11. Maxx was the best dog that anyone could ever hope to have in their life. &nbsp;Until we meet again, sweet boy, you will be forever in my heart and memories. I currently live in the country with two dogs (a 12 pound&nbsp;poodle mix&nbsp;named Suki and a new member to the family, a 7-month old(?) 7.5 pound terrier mix named Angel ). &nbsp; I got Angel from the dog pound a week after I lost my beloved Maxx. &nbsp;Suki and I both needed a new companion to help us cope with our loss. &nbsp;Nothing will ever replace Maxx, but she has helped to uplift Suki's spirit.
