Steph's Hotdog Kabobs

"A recipe from our local paper from the Supper Swap Girls at GreenvilleOnline. This looks like it would be a really great way to get the kids to try some veggies. Prep time does not include marinating time."

  • Cut up hot dogs, zucchini and bell pepper into bite sized pieces. Skewer the hot dogs, zucchini, bell peppers and mushrooms onto wood skewers, leaving a little room between each.
  • Mix applesauce and BBQ sauce together. Brush onto the kabobs and let sit for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
  • Grill over medium heat or broil them in your oven for 20 minutes, basting once.
  • Serve over rice.
