  1. Cut beef into thin strips.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger. Toss to coat.
  3. Combine cornstarch in beef broth and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in skillet over high heat. Add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add beef and stir fry for 2 more minutes.
  6. Add broccoli to the pan and toss.
  7. Stir in cornstarch mixture. Cook, tossing gently, until broccoli is hot and sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
