Stir-Fried Broccoli With Almonds

- 1 bunch broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 3 garlic cloves, very thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth, 30% less sodium
- 1⁄2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted
- lemon wedge
directions
- Hear oil in wok or deep skillet over high heat. Add broccoli, garlic salt and pepper ro pan and cook, stirring often, for 3-5 minutes.
- Measure out 1/4 cup of broth; whisk with cornstarch until combined. Reserve.
- Add remaining broth to pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium - low. Simmer broccoli, covered, for 5 minutes. Push broccoli to the edges of pan and stir cornstarch mixture into pan juices. Cook, uncovered until juices are thickened and glossy, about 1 minute. Toss broccoli with sauce until well coated. Transfer to a servng bowl. Sprinkle with almonds and serve with lemon wedges.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
