  1. My very first attempt at making jam and canning. I substituted blueberries for the strawberries (per suggestion) and was amazed. It came out fabulous. I'm going to make it with strawberries at my first chance.

  2. The common combination of s'berries and bananas usually doesn't appear in most jam books, so this is nice to have. Very tasty and good consistency. It's not clear,Diane, whether the orange should be peeled or the rind included.....like in a marmalade..... I made the jam without the peel.Stew

  3. This is a great recipe. My son has been begging me to make a strawberry-banana jam of some sort and this recipe was perfect answer! I increased the bananas a little bit to ensure the flavor came through so instead of 2 cups I used about three and increased by strawberries by a cup. I peeled the orange as I am not a fan of the rind and added a smidge more lemon juice to ensure the color stayed nice and red. Overall, a great base to work and try other options from here!
