Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Mix crumbs, butter and 2 tbsp sugar in bowl.
  3. Press into lightly buttered 9" pie plate.
  4. Bake 8 minutes and cool.
  5. Mix berries and 1/3 cup sugar and let stand 15 minutes or until juice runs freely.
  6. Strain juice into saucepan.
  7. Soften gelatin in water for 5 minutes.
  8. Add to berry juice and heat until gelatin is dissolved. cool.
  9. Add sliced berries to cooled mixture.
  10. Chill until mixture mounds when spooned.
  11. Beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar until foamy, stiff, glossy peaks.
  12. Fold thickened berry mixture into meringue.
  13. Whip cream and fold into berry mixture along with food coloring.
  14. Pour into cooled crust and chill.
  15. Garnish with additional whipped cream if desired.
