  • Put berries and .5 cups of sugar into a sauce pan. Cover and simmer until berries are soft.
  • In a 2 quart casserole oven dish, melt the whole stick of butter. Whisk in rest of sugar, flour and milk until smooth.
  • Slowly pour hot berries into center of casserole dish mixture. DO NOT STIR or blend in anyway.
  • Cook at 350 until golden brown (roughly 45 mins). Serve with ice cream.

  1. Fantastic recipe!!! My first time to ever make cobbler and I wanted something simple. This was easy and turned out great. I made 3 changes though: I added 2 tablespoons more butter, and I used almost a 16oz container of strawberries. While the berries were simmering in the sugar, I added cinnamon to them. Yum, I am making another one this weekend.
