  1. Lovely to look at too! Saw this same recipe (amounts were doubled though) in the Taste of Home Holidays booklet. I'm going to make it using raspberries, since we have a big berry patch & always need ways to use them up! Will try Killer B's suggestion of rum, too.

  2. I made this for the kids this weekend and they really liked it.

  3. Delicious! I used frozen strawberries for a slushier texture and DH suggested a shot of rum. Just the thing for a hot, summer, Friday evening.

  4. What a wonderful fruit drink! The lemon and ginger ale are perfect with the fresh strawberry flavour and it really is sweet enough without being too sweet. This would be easily adaptable for diabetics using splenda and diet ginger ale. Yum!!! Thank you, Claire.

  5. Delicious! This drink absolutely tastes like summer!! The flavour is perfect, not too sweet. It tastes best ice-cold. And, I bet it would make a refreshing cocktail with a shot of vodka!

The new kitchen is finally functional, and I'm cruising Recipezaar daily to see what I make! This site is one of the best for finding great recipes in a flash. I've been saving recipes to My Cookbook for quite a while and am looking forward to trying some new things while I get used to my appliances. I hope to be posting new reviews soon.
