Strawberry Dressing for Spinach Salad
"My wonderful grandmother ordered me a gift-subscription to a cooking mag, and I am trying new things left and right. The true keepers are getting posted. This is definitely one of the best. It was very easy, and to-die-for delicious!! I drizzled it over a basic salad of baby spinach leaves and sliced strawberries. (as a rule, I only add half the salt called for in a given recipe)"

- 1⁄4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2⁄3 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2⁄3 cup olive oil
directions
- Put the first six ingredients in a blender or food processor; cover and process until pureed. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream.
