Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 34 cup vanilla wafer crumbs (approximately 20 wafers)
  • 14 cup strawberry preserves
  • 12 cup almonds, toasted and finely chopped

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate over low heat in small saucepan.
  2. Beat cream cheese in medium mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add melted chocolate, beating until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla wafer crumbs and preserves; mixing well.
  5. Cover and chill mixture for 1 hour.
  6. Place almonds in small bowl.
  7. Remove chocolate mixture from refrigerator and shape into 1-inch balls.
  8. Roll each truffle in almonds; chill until serving.
