ingredients
- 1 cup sliced strawberry
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 3 teaspoons powdered sugar
directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Sift the dry ingredients together several times.
- Blend egg and milk and stir into dry ingredients.
- Add butter and quickly fold in strawberries.
- Fill 12 greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
