ingredients

1 tablespoon sugar
1 ¹⁄₂ cups flour
¹⁄₂ cup oleo
¹⁄₂ cup nuts
1 ¹⁄₂ cups sugar
¹⁄₄ cup cornstarch
1 ¹⁄₂ cups water
1 pinch salt
1 (3 ounce) box strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 quart fresh strawberries

Crust: Mix first four ingredients well. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until light brown.
Filling: Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, cornstartch, salt and water in a saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil until mixture is white and clear. Then add strawberry jello into hot mixture. Let cool. Add fresh strawberries, pour into deep dish. Refrigerate until set.
Serve with whipped cream.
