  1. I left out the cream cheese because I didn't have any and substituted Splenda for the sugar, but it still produced an incredible, fresh tasting pie. Soooo easy - made it in just a few minutes.

  2. I tried this recipe and found it to be the best Strawberry Pie I have ever tasted. My mother in-law gave me her recipe and it was very good too.. but after I baked this one...No comparison. I used Real Whipping Cream and spread it over the strawberries after the pie was cooled...Yummmmm!!!

  3. Yum!! This is so much better than the jello version!

  4. I love this recipe! The ingredients were so simple and it turned out amazing! The most difficult part about the recipe was the berry mixture. I mashed the strawberries with a fork and it took maybe 7-10 minutes for the strawberry mixture to get thick, but when it did, it was definitely not runny at all. LOVE IT. I'm gonna make this recipe again but instead turn it into small tarts with blueberries!

  5. We loved this recipe. As long as you let it cool, it sets up nicely without being runny. I added 1/3 c of heavy cream when I whipped the cream cheese and it was great!

Tweaks

  1. Very good, fresh flavor. Very easy to make, I finely chopped the portion of strawberries that were supposed to be mashed, used brown sugar instead of regular sugar and added about 3 and a half tbsps of cornstarch instead of 3. I also sliced the other stawberries in half instead of adding them whole and added 6 ounces of cream cheese instead of 3. Finally, I covered the pie with sliced almonds. Very good and very easy to make dessert!
