  1. This was one of the best batches of ice cream I have ever made. Full disclosure- I omitted the vodka because A. I was sharing with the kids and B. What good is 1 T. of vodka anyway?

  2. The best strawberry ice cream I have ever tasted. I am in love. It's not too sweet and it leaves you wanting more. A Thank you for sharing a great easy to make recipe.

  3. I have now made approximately 5 different ice recipes with my first/new ice cream maker this year. This recipe is our favorite. The sour cream gives a tang that is so creamy. It definitely makes a quart not a pint. Be prepared to freeze more. However it will probably be eaten up in a day and a half.

  4. Awesome recipe!! I also doubled the vodka and lemon juice. So good! My husband loved it too!

  5. Ice cream for grown ups! This was quick and easy to prepare. I did increase the lemon juice by an extra 1/2 tsp. and next time I would also double the vodka (just because). The sour cream added a lovely tang. I will certainly be making this again. Thanks for posting College Girl.
