  1. LEMON CREAM: Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Set aside 5 minutes, mixture will thicken.
  2. ASSEMBLY: Place 1/4 of cake cubes in the bottom of a 10 cup glass trifle bowl. Cover with 1 cup of sliced strawberries, followed by 1/4 of the lemon cream mixture. Continue layering, ending with lemon cream. Chill for at least 2 hours. Serve.
  3. NOTE: You can replace the strawberries with any other berry.
  4. Trifle can be made a day ahead of time.
