  1. BRAINFREEZE!! This was the absolute perfect consistency and the oh so very yummy!! I was worried the oj would be too much for the other light flavors but it really enhanced them and provided a lovely balance. DH loved it and we will be making again!! Thanks so much CG!! Made for the lovely VIP in Veg*n Swap 33!!

  2. Don't you love it when you come across a recipe and think "Hum. I have all those ingredients. Ok. I'll go try!" I was looking for recipes using the abundance of fresh oranges I just got. I have a huge bag of frozen watermelon in my freezer left over from the summer. However, one of the reasons I froze this particular watermelon is that it is a very un-sweet watermelon. That said, I needed to add a shake of splenda to the blender to get enough sweetness. I was out of lime juice and so I just squeezed half a lemon into the mix. Really refreshing. We divided it into four small servings and enjoyed it, as a famiy, as an afternoon snack.

  3. So delicious! Like another reviewer, I didn't freeze all the fruit. Only my strawberries were frozen, the watermelon wasn't. I also didn't use any ice cubes, so the only thing frozen was the strawberries. Because of this, my drink wasn't as thick as I'd like, but the *flavor* was amazing, so I still give it five stars. I just bought another watermelon, so I'm going to freeze it today and try this smoothie again tonight, as written. Thanks so much for a great recipe!

  4. Wonderfully refreshing BUT I did not use ice or freeze everything as I prefer it cold but not frozen. I used strawberries from the refrigerator, I chopped some baby watermelon and put it in a ziplock bag in the freezer until it was 1/4-1/2 frozen and I used cold Oasis orange juice from the fridge because I was lazy to squeeze fresh oranges which I know would have been perfect, plus the freshly squeezed cold lime juice, I forgot the garnish as it doesn't mention it in the instructions. Made for Veggie Swap 33 ~ April 2011 for our VIP.
