  • Heat oil in skillet with lid.
  • Saute beef, salt, pepper, onion, garlic, and mushrooms until brown.
  • Add beef stock, turn down heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or so. Watch the level of broth - it should not cook completely down, so add water or broth if you need more.
  • When meat is tender, remove from heat.
  • Add sour cream and mix.
  • Serve over cooked egg noodles.
