- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 12 medium day-old croissants
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 pint strawberry, thinly sliced

directions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla; pour into a 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Slice each croissant almost completely through horizontally.
- With a hand mixer, mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Spread a layer of cream cheese mixture on the inside surface of each croissant.
- Place strawberry slices over cream cheese mixture and press lightly to secure.
- Close the croissants and place in the 13 x 9 inch pan; soak each side 2-3 minutes.
- Melt a little butter in a small frying pan; place croissant in pan; cover and cook 1 minute on each side, or until lightly browned.
- Serve immediately sprinkled with powdered sugar.

These are sooooooooo good! My family absolutely loved them. Thank you so much for posting this. My husband brought home a bunch of croissants and since there is only the 3 of us this was a great way to use some up. I cut the recipe for the cream cheese in half and I only made 4 croissants but i kept the other measurements the same. I garnished the plate with the extra strawberries. Thanks again for a great recipe. I will definitely be making this again!
