- 10 jalapenos
- 1⁄2 lb mild sausage
- 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese, plus more for sprinkling
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
directions
- Pre-heat oven to 400.
- Place cut and seeded jalapenos in a pan and cook till slightly soft.
- Take out to cool, leaving oven on.
- Brown sausage, breaking it into small pieces.
- Brown till completely cooked then drain.
- With a mixer, mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese then with a spoon fold in sausage.
- Fill the peppers with mixture and sprinkle with chz.
- Bake once again till cheddar melts then remove from oven and serve warm.
