  1. Total hit at socials!! Definitely a conversation item around the appetizer table...filling would do for another 32 mushrooms. Thanks for the post!

  2. A nice twist on stuffed mushrooms. I made half a batch of the filling, which was enough for just over a pound of cleaned and stemmed mushrooms. Tonight was a "clean out the fridge night" and this recipe used up a lot of our extra odds and ends, but now will be put into our regular rotation of appetizers! I thought the filling tasted almost like a ham spread for crackers, but with black olive garnishes. Very tasty, easy appetizer. Thanks!

  3. Excellent. I have had many a stuffed mushroom over the years but the olives in these (I used black olives) gave them a very distinctive flavour. Thanks Brenda.

  4. I cut the bacon back on this to two strips, and I left out the olives, and used a green onion. These mushrooms were tasted awesome, and were so simple to make. I'm also low carbing, and this will be a keeper sidedish for me.

  5. I have been making these for 20 years and everyone still likes them.

I live in Aloha, OR (by Portland, OR). I use to be a full-time bookeeper but quit to stay home with my two boys. I love being home with them. Since being home I now have more time to cook and found that I enjoy it alot.
