  • Cut tops off of peppers and remove seeds and pulp.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Brown meat in a pan with onion, mushroom, and garlic, and set aside.
  • Cook one cup of rice (I use easy cook which is 1 cup rice to 2 cups water) and then set aside with the top off so rice can breathe and dry.
  • Heat meat mixture on low and add tomato sauce, tomato, and mixed herbs.
  • When rice is dry enough to not stick to itself, add it to the pan and mix all together.
  • Spoon mixture into hollowed out peppers.
  • Top with grated cheese and place in oven until the cheese is melted and very slightly browned.
