Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Prepare the Tomato by scooping out the fleshy middle. Place the empty tomato in a deep baking dish.
  2. Chop the fleshy part of the tomato you have removed.
  3. Remove insides of Peppers.
  4. Place the peppers in the dish with the tomato.
  5. Heat Oil in a large heavy based pan.
  6. Sautee Onion and Garlic.
  7. Add Mince and cook till brown.
  8. Add Worcestershire Sauce, Mixed Herbs, Vegemite and Tomato Sauce.
  9. Simmer.
  10. Add chopped Tomato Flesh and Rice.
  11. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  12. Fill the tomatoes.
  13. Cook in the oven at 160 for 1 hour.
  14. Cover with tin foil, Cook for a further 60 minutes at 180.
  15. Uncover and cook for a further 30 minutes.
  16. Keep an eye on the tomatoes as the cooking times may vary.
