  1. Cut tomatoes in half and hollow out the halves with a spoon. Keep what you've hollowed out in a separate bowl.
  2. Thoroughly blend ground beef, chicken and onions in a large bowl.
  3. In a wide, shallow bowl, beat an egg. In another such bowl, blend bread crumbs (or matzo meal) with spices.
  4. Stuff each tomato half with the beef mixture.
