Stupid Easy 3 Ingredient Nacho Dip

"This was made for me by a friends mom for an Indy 500 race party. It was gone within 15 minutes. If you run out of chips-which happens a lot-many people resort to the use of a spoon."

  1. You pulled a Taco Bell. You thought outside the bun. My family Inhaled it because they think chewing is so overrated.

  2. Put all ingredients in crockpot and turned it on. I used two bags of cheese (i thought it was 2 of each ingredient!!!). .ANYWAYS! My husband couldn't stop raving about it!!!! Thanks!!

  3. I worked in a call center and every Sunday my team had a pot luck. This was one of the favorites. To make it even more stupid easy - you don't have to layer it. Dump all the ingredients together, microwave til the cream cheese is soft, stir and then microwave til hot.

  4. Great and stupid easy! I topped mine w/ green onions. You can add so much to this :O)

  5. I love this recipe. I have been making it for several years. The only thing i do different is to mix the chili and cream cheese first (heat in oven or microwave to melt the cream cheese and stir together). Also I use pepper-jack cheese. This always goes over well. I have done it in a crock pot, but the oil from the cheese separates and it doesn't look real pretty, but it still tastes yummy. You shared a great recipe. Thanks

Tweaks

  1. My family has been making this for decades. BUT.. your supposed to mix a jar of salsa in with the chili before you add that layer. It's no wonder the previous reviews complain of it being too thick. It's awesome, and our go-to quick meal recipe. It truly is stupid easy, and everyone we've ever served it to has become addicted.

  2. My family loves this one, too, but we mix the salsa with the cream cheese layer, then the chili, then the cheese.

  3. This was very tasty. I only gave it 4 stars cuz I subbed refried beans for the chili since I didn't have it on hand. I also added some taco seasoning to the cream cheese. My 3yo and I had it for lunch one day and I was horrified that we ate the entire thing.

  4. This was just ok for me; I used salsa instead of chili, so maybe it would've been better if I'd followed the recipe exactly. If I make this again, I will soften the cream cheese first and spread it in the bottom of the pan because it didn't melt at all and was still hard when I took it out of the oven. I will also try it with the chili next time.

  5. Our family has been making this dip for years, substituting a jar of salsa for the chili. Either way, it's always the first dip to go at parties. Very versatile when you can heat in the oven or microwave.
