Summer Love Tea

"Ahh, summer and iced tea. This is a perfect way to enjoy both. The 1 hr cook time is stand time. As written this is quite a mild tea. If you would like a stronger flavor please feel free to use more tea bags."

Reviews

  1. After reading the reviews, I decided to use 8 tea bags instead of six. I also used cranberry-apple tea. This was a quick and refreshing iced tea and I really enjoyed the addition of the cinnamon and honey.

  2. This was light and refreshing for a hot summer day here in Texas. I couldn't find cranberry tea bags at Wal-mart so I used 8 cranberry-pomegranate green tea bags. Even with the extra 2 bags, I found the tea a bit on the weak side. Next time I will try it with 10. Thanks for sharing!

  3. This was a very refreshing drink, whole family liked it. It was easy to make. Did use Bigelow Cranberr-Apple Tea, couldn't find Celestial Cranberry Tea.

  4. Yummy. This tea was super easy to make and very refreshing. I used Celestial Seasonings Cranberry-Apple teabags (6) and the flavor was just right - the honey gave it just the perfect amount of sweetness. I usually like sweet tea, but this was the right balance of flavor and sweetness. Thanks for posting this recipe - I will be sure to use it again.

  5. I think I needed a better quality tea, i wasn't very strong in flavour. It was refreshing with ice and a slice of lemonI found it easy to make and will try it again.

Tweaks

  1. I made a half batch of this using strawberry tea bags instead of cranberry. Was a very light tasting ice tea with the the subtle aftertaste of honey & cinnamon. It was nice without being too overly sweet, thanks!
