directions

  • This ice tea mix has a dark crisp taste with sweet and smoky undertones combined with small hints of citrus and currant.
  • Earl grey tea increases the citrus flavor and kambaa estate tea gives it a malty currant flavor.
  • Place 12 teaspoons of loose tea in Nylon Sock or use pantyhose. Tie nylon closed. There should be a lot of room for the tea leaves to expand.
  • Place tea leaves sock in a lidded GLASS jar that will hold at least one gallon. I used and old x-large pickle jar.
  • Fill the jar with water, and tighten the lid.
  • Place the jar in a sunny spot outdoors, and allow the tea to brew for 4 to 8 hours.
  • Remove tea leaves sock.
  • Refrigerate.
