Sunflower Smoothie

"I developed this recipe during a "raw foods experiment" (trying to eat raw for five days). It was the most filling and satisfying breakfast I had that week, and I loved the sweet-but-not-too-sweet flavor."

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste, and adjust amounts. Feel free to add a little honey or agave nectar if more sweetness is desired.

I try to eat vegan, and most of my creations are also gluten-free because my husband is Diabetic/Celiac. I don't post any recipes I have not personally tried and liked.
