Super Easy Ice Cream!

"Here is a simple and delicious ice cream recipe that does not require an ice cream maker! For a different flare try substituting 1/2 cup of the heavy whipping cream with flavored coffee creamer (I would reccomend not using the low fat kind) or egg nog. You can also sub the vanilla for any other flavor extract. Freezing time (cooking time) varies on how shallow your container is. I would sugest using this up within a week for best taste. Enjoy! --Recipe modified from "Quick Cook""

  1. Loved making this, & even though it takes some time (mostly idle time), it is delicious! I did bring it down to room temperature, then put it in a freezable container, & put it, uncovered, in the fridge to get it colder before covering it & freezing it ~ Just to keep it from developing an initial frost on top! Many thanks for sharing this great recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in this Spring's round of Pick A Chef]
