  1. A quick meal to put together and tasty. I had a can of tomato sauce with basil, garlic, and oregano so I used that and regular petite diced tomatoes. For the frozen mixed vegetables I had california blend (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) and for me I would have liked a little more vegetable added. I did add dried minced onion and garlic powder to the ground chuck when frying and would have liked a couple shakes of black pepper and a little salt. Will make this again and use a variety of vegetables. Thank's iewe for posting this one! Made and reviewed for Pick A Chef - Spring 2009.

  2. I thought it was excellent. I had plain tomatoes so I added some garlic, balsamic vinegar, worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. I also added more mozzarella. For the vegetables I used frozen peas. I was looking for a hamburger helper-type recipe and wasn't too rich and this was perfect! Thanks for posting :)

  3. I used plain tomatoes. But I added basil and oregano. I think 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables is not enough. Next time, I'll double or triple it. I like the way that everything cooks in one skillet. Thanks Iewe :) Made for 123 hit wonders.

  4. This was very fast to make! I always enjoy cheese in hot dishes, can't go wrong with cheese. Made for *Potluck Tag* for Lauralie's *Scary Movie Party*

I am the mother of three, wife of one :) My teenager is the pickiest eater in the world, while my 3 year old will eat anything (though has been acting more and more fickle lately). Our newest addition was born in June 2008, so she doesn't really know much in the way of varieties of food. My husband says "I don't care what you fix, as long as it has meat in it." I have thousands of recipes saved on my computer from over the years, and am constantly on the lookout for new ones. I also seem to have accumulated hundreds of cookbooks over the years. I am (slowly) trying to go thru all the recipes I have saved and add them to 'Zaar, but this will take some time. I try to only post things that my family (or I) will eat (though I haven't necessarily yet tried every recipe I have posted). <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/cookbookswap.jpg"> <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/Zaar%20World%20Tour%203/ZWT3-Participation.gif"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/captain.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t237/akplongmeadow/ZWT3b.jpg"> <img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b280/carolinamoon21/Stockingswapcopy.jpg"> <img src="http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w115/bugh8er/food%20and%20swaps/4811_39528.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/Adopted1smp.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"> <img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/ZaarStar-AMBanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/smPACp.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"> <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/Zaar%20World%20Tour%204/ZWTAB-tg.gif"> <img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/potluckpbanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z205/jubespage/kid-friendlytag-participation2.gif"> <img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y164/lauralie41/cookbookswapspring08-2.jpg"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/IWasAdoptedfall08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj81/HokiesLady65/123HitAMpage.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/PACfall08partic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z205/jubespage/stacky5.jpg"> <img src="http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr336/jess4freedom/Zaar%20banners/Kid-Friendly-Tag.jpg"><img src="http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e110/flower753/Food/my3chefsnov2008.jpg"> <img src="http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a24/ohohkatie/MARCHTAG1.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg"> <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/Animation6.gif"> <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpg">
