  2. Add the beaten eggs and vanilla.
  3. sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and nutmeg.
  4. Add to the first four ingredients.
  5. Let the dough chill for 2 hours.
  6. preheat oven to 425.
  7. roll out dough on lightly floured surface and cut the cookies about 1/2 inch thick.
  8. Try not to add too much flour to them it will ruin the texture of the cookies.
  9. Bake for 8 minutes.
  10. Let cool, then frost with any frosting you would like.
