  1. I didn't use the raisins, but otherwise followed the recipe. Delicious with vanilla ice cream on the side!

  2. These look good, but THEY ARE NOT GLUTEN-FREE! Wheat-free and gluten-free are not the same thing. Oatmeal has gluten in it.

  3. I made these without the raisins and topped with whipped cream. The filling is enough for probably 6-8 apples (unless I didn't cut out enough apple!) I think it would be easier to just put a bit of butter on the top of the filling, rather than mix it into the filling first. Very good and easy to make.

  4. i made these for my parents when they came to visit.. huge apple fans.. turned out GREAT! and i only put in 1.5T of butter.. and a little shake of curry.. sounds weird but good. the only reason i gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because noone..NOONE need to put in 4T of butter in this.. no need.. also plumped my raisons to make them softer.. and they got raves.. very easy too. i made the filling and cored the apples the night before and then just stuffed and baked in no time.. my mom was amazed that they were cooked through in only 20 min!! they were done perfect and the filling was soo good. served w/ cool whip thanks a ton

  5. Extremely delicious! Wow! Pretty much followed the recipe word-for-word, except I used more raisins (we LOVE our raisins!), and I left off the whipped cream (no one noticed!). KEEPER!

Very busy nanny/au pair, working for a very rich and snooty family, in a very large home, in a very snooty village. Just in case my employer comes here, please don't ask where I am from, or I'll be sacked like the last nanny was. ;-) I take care of 4 gorgeous, and darling kids. 3 girls and a boy. The boy is the youngest (and my favorite). They are great children, very, very active. (Hyper) I love to cook. I guess that's a given, why else would I be here. Part of my job is also to prepare meals for the family. The more they like my food, the longer I get to stay. (just a little joke) On my day off, I usually go out to the cinema or some dance clubs with the other au pairs in this town. That's about it I think.
