  1. This recipe had people raving! I chose it because it was one of those "instant" appetizers. I will make it again because it was so delicious as well! I used a smaller log of goat cheese, so just drizzled some honey on top after rolling in sunflower seeds. The most difficult part was getting the sunflower seeds to stick! YUM!

  2. I made this for a family get together and I only had a little chunk left over to bring home ~ everybody enjoyed the sunflower seeds and honey drizzle. I used 2 different cheeses ~ 1 lemon, and 1 cracked pepper ~ and both got rave reviews. Thanks for such a quick and classy way to serve a cheese log. Made for the FAMILY PICKS Round of ZWT5, for the Bodacious Brickhouse Babes.

  3. Oh wow! I made this for a picnic today and it was just wonderful! I accidentally bought sun dried basil goat cheese, but it didn't seem to make a difference. It was still good. I rolled the cheese in sunflower seeds, then when I was ready to eat it, I layered it - french bread, cheese, mint, berry then honey. It was less sticky and easier to control how much honey was on each slice by putting it on right before I was going to eat it rather than on the whole thing. Wonderful - and will made again soon. Made for ZWT5, RRR.
