  • In a large nonstick skillet, stir fry sausage 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Add onions, and carrots, stir fry until crisp tender.
  • Drain pineapple, reserving juice.Add pineapple to sausage/vegetable mixture.
  • In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and ginger. Stir in water, soy sauce, and reserved pineapple juice until smooth.
  • Add soy sauce to skillet.
  • Bring to a boil, Cook, stirring continually for 1-2 minutes, or until sauce is thickened.
  • Serve over cooked rice.

  1. I liked this. The dish reminded me of the meals my Polish parents would make years ago to use up ingredients. This is definitely satisfying comfort food. I used turkey kelibasa, which I believe is reduced-fat as well, and served everything over quinoa. It was a filling and tasty meal.

Will make no adjustments. <br />3 stars - good, might consider an adjustment <br />2 stars- Okay- will make adjustment <br />1 star- debatable I will make again, would with right adjustment <br />0 stars - Will not attempt again.</p>
