Directions

  1. Cut pork into strips 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
  2. Brown in hot fat.
  3. Add water, cover and cook in an electric skillet for 1 hour.
  4. Add pepper strips, onion slices, pineapple. Saute.
  5. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce.
  6. Mix and cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
  7. Pour over hot cooked pork, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
  8. Serve over cooked rice.
  9. Garnish with almonds if desired.
