Directions

  1. Sauté the onion in olive oil in a saucepan until soft, about 3-4 minutes on medium/low heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté 2 minutes more.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, ketchup and stir well. Then add the Barley Malt, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard. Combine well.
  4. Simmer for 25 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally until thickened. Let cool.
