"Highly nutritious! This recipe came from PREVENTION magazine, Dec 2003. "A double whammy of pumpkin and carrots gives just one of these bars more than 100% of the daily value of vitamin A.""

  1. Dangerously good! I would call this a snack cake, but cut into small bars it would make a wonderful lunchbox treat. Great combination of ingredients, orange complimented the fruits nicely. I'll definitely make these again! Used butter instead of margarine and omitted the nuts. Next time will try part whole wheat pastry flour to make these even healthier. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. I have made this recipe many times, but my magazine cut out has gotten splattered a few too many times! My kids love this as a snack or dessert. It comes out very moist and freezes wonderfully too.
