Sweet Delicious Fat Free Blueberry Pie

"I found this recipe off of the back of a can of blueberries. I tried it and it came out sensational."

  • Drain the berries and reserve the syrup from one can.
  • In a saucepan, stir the syrup into the combined mixture of the cornstarch and half of the sugar.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and gently stir in the remaining sugar, berries and lemon juice.
  • Poor berry mixture into crust.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown.

I find it relaxing, but I don't feel like I'm just lying around, because I am actually doing something. I started baking a few years ago. Just making cookies and that kind of thing for my family, then I started baking more for the holidays and things like that. I love making things that are really good and everybody wants the recipe. I like to eat healthy so it always a challenge to find recipes that are relatively fat free, but that also taste good. I hope you enjoy some of the recipes that I have posted.
