  • 14 cup oil (vegetable, coconut oil)
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 12 cup Anjou pear, unpopped kernals
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt

directions

  • In a 4 quart pot or Whirley Pop kettle heat oil on medium heat. .
  • Add sugar to oil and stir until well combined.
  • Once oil and sugar are hot add the unpopped popcorn kernels and stir.
  • Once first pop happens close lid and carefully slide pot on and off the eye in a quick motion to avoid burning kernals.
  • When you hear 5-6 seconds between pops remove from heat and immediately pour into a pan and salt to taste.
  • Serve and Enjoy.
