  • 4 cups soft bread
  • 13 cup vidalia onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, onion, and parsley. Stir in butter and egg.
  2. Shape into 1/2 inch balls.
  3. Heat oil to about 375 in a skillet. Fry croutons 10-15, turning to brown all sides.Drain on paper towels.
