"I had this at a Birthday Party. A cousin I barely know gave me the recipe. It was one of the best dips I ever had for crackers and veggie. Everyone raved about it and noone could guess it even had pickles in it. Try it you will be suprised."

  1. My whole family loved this! I didn't have green onions, so I substituted 1 tsp minced dried onion and 1 tsp parsley. I used my own homemade bread & butter pickles, which have slices of onion. I only counted the pickle slices and let the onions slide by as a bonus. The taste of this dip reminds me of Bison French Onion Dip, a standard here in the Buffalo, NY area.

  2. I love bread and butter pickles so I used a five more. Few people could guess the "mystery" ingredient. Served it with crackers.

  3. Can't believe I haven't rated this yet....fabulous! I blend the cheese, mayonnaise and pickle juice together first then I add the pickles and onions that I chopped by hand first. We like it on the chunky side.

  4. I really enjoyed the unique taste of this dip. I served it with carrot sticks, celery sticks and sliced cucumbers. It was good with the carrots and celery, but the flavor didn't mesh well with the cucumbers for some reason.
