  • Chop green onion in 1/4 in length put aside.

  • Chop pork ( about a lb) into bite size pieces (shoulder & loin are best).
  • Heat oil in hot wok (high - med high) add sesame oil just before adding ingredients.

  • Add 1/8 cup of water, 2 tblsp of thai fish sauce, & 3 tlbsp of soy sauce into a bowl then into wok after sugar has melted CAREFUL! The oil will splash so have a lid ready to cover.
  • Add pork to wok and cook the water will help cook the pork with the lid. 4-5 minutes Reduce heat, remove lid so the pork gets thick.
  • When done lay a green piece of fresh cabbage leaf (washed) and add rice then pork and then green onions on top, close cabbage and serve. How much rice pork and onions is up to you, can be serve very small for appetizers or as a rice bowl with cabbage leafs surrounding the edges with pork and onions on top for a main dish.
