Mmmmm, these are so good! They're totally different than the bunuelos I'm used to (from Mexico), which are more like fried flour tortillas with syrup. These are more like a sweet potato fritter. So easy to make, and so tasty! I served them at first with some homemade blackberry syrup, but when I tried them simply rolled in granulated sugar...heaven! Next time, I'll probably follow Sydney Mike's lead and make some mango syrup. Thanks for posting!!!

I really enjoyed making these little tasties almost as much as I did eating them ~ Great tropical flavor! Another time, when I host one of my monthly meetings, I'd be willing to serve them as appetizers along with a mango syrup! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Newest Zaar recipe tag]
