"Great for the Holidays or formal dinner or as a super side. This is good for you too, I do it on Thanksgiving . Christmas and Easter. On Christmas I sprinkel red and green sprinkes overtop. Feel free to make subs and let me know how it turns out."

ingredients

3 lbs sweet potatoes
³⁄₄ cup cream
1 egg
5 tablespoons butter
¹⁄₂ tablespoon cinnamon
¹⁄₄ teaspoon almond extract or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
¹⁄₄ teaspoon ground cloves
¹⁄₄ teaspoon allspice
¹⁄₂ cup raisins
³⁄₄ cup cashews
³⁄₄ cup splenda brown sugar substitute
³⁄₄ cup pineapple chunk

directions

cook sweet potatos at 400 degrees for 1 hour ore until potatos are soft. put in large bowl nd mash . Add next 10 ingredients and mix well. put in buttered casserole . smooth top .prepare pineapple throw juice away and cut the chunks in half and set aside .Put casserole in oven at 350 till hot . with app. 10 minutes left add pineapple to top and cook10 more minutes. serve and enjoy.
