  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Blend together the sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs, and 1/2 cup butter.
  3. Lightly coat a 9x9 pan with cooking spray, and pour in the potato mixture.
  4. In a small bowl, blend the brown sugar, flour, candied pecans, and 1/4 cup butter.
  5. Spread the pecan mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
