These are so festive! I made them for our family's annual Christmas Eve party. I had a bit of trouble with the dough at first, it seemed to be too dry and crumbled when I tried to roll the layers together. But I worked a bit with the dough, adding a splash or two of water at a time, and kneading it until the consistency was soft and fluffy. I was finally able to roll the layers into a cylinder that was solid enough to slice into individual cookies. And they baked up so beautifully. The Swirl Cookies will be a great addition to our holiday treat table. Thanks, Lynn.

A perfect holiday cookie with the red and green. I'm already thinking how I can change the colors and make these for my daughter's graduation party next June. I wish the orange flavor came through a bit more but the texture and taste of the cookies is still so good it deserves 5 stars. Thanks for helping make my cookie tray look so pretty.
